Bishop Rachel with Eddie Carmichael, Glyn Allford and Jon Holden
On the 12th of November ,we were very proud and privileged to be the venue of a Forest South Deanery meeting hosted by the Revd Canon Philippa Brunt, one of our trustees.The guest of honor was The Right Revd Rachel Treweek making her first visit to our centre.
The evening was hosted in the dining room and lounge of our Cross Meadows campsite. After a short talk and introduction in the lounge, Bishop Rachel and the synod sat down to a 2 course dinner in the dining room. The dinner was our provided by caterers Joshua’s Catering Company Lydney
After dinner there was tea and coffee, before the synod went across to All Saint Church to share a Eucharist.
